Thierry Dusautoir will captain a star-studded Barbarians side against England when he makes the penultimate appearance of his illustrious career.
The France great leads the famous invitation team in the Old Mutual Wealth Cup match at Twickenham this Sunday before the Barbarians travel to take on Ulster at the Kingspan Stadium in Belfast on June 1.
Toulouse back row forward Dusautoir won 80 caps for France and appeared in three World Cup campaigns in 2007, 2011 and 2015.
The longest-serving captain of Les Bleus led his side to the 2011 final, after which he was named World Rugby Player of the Year, while in 2007 he made a staggering 38 tackles as France stunned New Zealand in the quarter finals of the competition.
“I think Thierry Dusautoir’s one of the great leaders in the game,” said Head Coach Vern Cotter. “You only have to look back at 2011 World Cup in New Zealand and the game he had there.”
His final challenge will be at the helm of a tour squad that brings together 12 different nationalities with more than 1,000-caps worth of international experience between them.
