Ian King
Ian King was born in Leyburn and played at full-back for the Harrogate club. Originally a commercial traveller, he later became a licensee. His three caps for England were in 1953/54. He played 13 times for the Barbarians, including four Easter tours,the match against New Zealand in 1954, and the captaincy against Swansea in 1953 and Penarth twice in 1954 and 1955.
