Rodney Edward Webb
Rodney Edward Webb was born in Newbold on Avon on 18 August 1943 and educated at Newbold Grange School before qualifying as a planning engineer. Having initially played club rugby for Newbold-on-Avon he moved to Coventry where he was a formidable wing and member of the successful Warwickshire county team. Rodney Webb gained 12 caps for England between 1967 and 1972 and in 1969 toured South Africa with the Barbarians.
